Mall Scavengers
There are malls all over the country. In fact, just about one in every city. Finally, Mall Scavenger Hunts has emerged. Modeled after the hit Supermarket sweep television show – these contestants are given a riddle to solve. The first riddle will be given to all the contestants at the beginning of their hunt. To solve the riddle, each contestant must scavenge the mall.  Each contestant will be separated and isolated from each other during the contests, keeping the hunt honest.  The quickest time determines the winner. Contestants are given 5-minutes each to locate the product based on the riddle. The contestant who solves the riddle first and finds the product in 5-minutes or less wins a shopping spree. At the end of the hunt, the contestant winner will choose from the retailers name card. The retailer’s card will have either a one, two or three minute shopping spree in that store.  
The Mall Scavenger show is a marketing and financial benefit for the mall and retailers. The retailers are the sponsor of the product in the hunt. The store that hosts the product for the hunt will be the most exposed during the show. The clues that will be used in the hunt will also be utilized as a marketing technique for those products. Each show will consist of new contestants, a new hunt, and a new exhilarating riddle. Every show a new retailer will be featured.

Title: Consequences of the First Time Offenders

Genre: Television Reality Documentary Series

 

Millions of people have been arrested for alcohol related offenses in the United States. This project will utilize real-life situations to inform the public about the consequences of first time DUI/DWI penalties.

 

The individuals that received a DUI/DWI conviction have a story to tell. These stories are usually emotional and involve harsh realities. The goal of these interviews is to educate the public about the consequences that are imposed on first time offenders. These interviews will include but not be limited to those who operate a motorized vehicle, ride a bicycle, walking on a public street and even those who are under the influence of illegal and legal prescription drugs.

Marijuana - State of Confusion… illustrates detailed statistics regarding marijuana in a documentary form. The mission of Marijuana- State of Confusion…is to provide public awareness about the effects of Marijuana on a social, legal and medicinal level.

 

Marijuana - State of Confusion… provides facts essentially needed for the public to understand the history of Marijuana as well as to provide detailed and accurate information regarding the effects of THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol). The documentary provides facts and statistics generated from government studies, universities, focus groups, medicinal outlets, patients, non-smokers and legislation in a timeline fashion that incorporates the past, present and future issues of marijuana. Real life interviews with DEA agents, local authorities, cannabis clubs, physicians, politicians, judges, lawyers, attorneys and patients to provide pros and cons of marijuana from all angles.

 

Marijuana is the number one 'substance' confiscated in the United States and causes over populated prisons and jails; however, research will conclude that THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol) have therapeutic benefits and is becoming widely used in the medical field. Marijuana has been in existence and grown in all parts of the world since 4,000 BC. Controversy is increasing everyday because the nation is in a state of confusion as to what is really going on with marijuana. Statistics and graphs will illustrate a correlation associated with a proposed heath care system and marijuana. Is the answer for cancer right underneath our noses?

Home Poker Party Tour is a reality television series that incorporates recreational poker parties in privately owned homes. The Home Poker Party Tour will travel throughout the United States and eventually internationally. TEXAS HOLD 'EM will be the chosen game for this tour and is exciting and fun. No money will be exchanged for any gaming wins until the grand finale at a Casino to be determined. 

The show will consist of (6) six players - playing for the chance to win the grand finale prize of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS and up to ONE MILLION DOLLARS. A professional dealer will be the host of the show and will interact with the players. In addition, a host will interact with family and friends outside of the filming area. The host/dealer will be in constant communication with the control room keeping the excitement alive with a live recording of the game. A selection of friends and family will be interviewed as the audience for the show. During the taping, family and friends will have the ultimate opportunity to express the excitement of the game and the players. The players will be non-professional players, but yet experienced. All players will follow the rules. Each player will be interviewed prior to and after the show. No player will receive any compensation for winning the game. At the end of the 13-week season, the winners precede to compete at the GRAND FINALE poker tournament at a Casino to be announced on live television.

 

Poker Tables:

A professional poker table will be used in all games. A sponsor can be added to the top of the table, for instance the poker table that “The World Poker Tour” uses.  A separate table will travel with the Home Poker Party Tour that is used at each game. The table will consist of cameras inserted in the table in order to calculate the percentage of the player's cards. This will enable the audience to observe the actual cards played by the poker players and create an excitement within the audience. There will be four (4) additional remote controlled robotic cameras on hot heads, which will be very non-intrusive to the players. The network can include additional equipment and input into the final decision of the cameras (many different formats).

 

Motor Home

A sponsored motor home will be used to set up the Home Poker Party Tour as a mobile control unit - traveling from poker party to poker party. These poker parties are either shot all in one city, for instance, Los Angles, or shot in many cities across the United States to gather enough competition to play for the grand prize. The motor home/control until is a traveling billboard that associated with the Home Poker Party Tour.          

 

Campaign - Promotion

The Home Poker Party Tour will market/promote through the media: i.e. internet, television, radio, newspaper, etc. to seek potential poker party homes for the show. A press release will also be used to start the Home Poker Tour Campaign. Application forms will be issued upon release of funding for show. The network will work in association with soliciting sponsors.

 

Reservation of Additional Poker Games

LB Productions will reserves the rights to play additional types of card games, such as Black-Jack, 7-card stud, 5-card stud, poker, excreta. The players will sign a release form and hold harmless the production company for all non-disclosed information that could possibly result in a lawsuit. If further information is required contact:

Submission:

Anyone interested in hosting a Home Poker Party for the television reality show: “The Home Poker Party Tour”- please submit a brief introduction that includes the following: the name of the host, address of the house, square footage of the room to be used for the game, and name and ages of players immediately by either email to: lbprods@charter.net, or via postal mail: LB Productions, 215 N. Cordova St. Suite B, Burbank, CA  91505. In the SUBJECT line, include HOME POKER PARTY TOUR - HOME SUBMISSION. Players must be 21 years or older to play - no exceptions! No money is exchanged - the winner of each game will use the HPPTs chips as credit towards the final tournament for a chance to win the grand prize. Submit your information so the Home Poker Party Tour team so you can have a chance to plan a tour in your area.  E-mail and US Postal submissions are accepted.

 

Parking Motor-Home/Control Unit

            Location must have plenty of room to park HPPT motor home/control room. Each city will be notified of the Home Poker Party Tour arrival for their own promotional purposes. Permits will be obtained prior to arriving at location if needed. Possible street closures may be necessary and local police or security will be aware of activity at location addresses. Confidentiality Statements, release and permits will be taken during the first scout.

 

Set-Up

            A producer will be ahead of HTTP motor home/control room - setting up next location and to secure permits. Interviews will take place prior HTTP motor home/control room arrival to obtain pre-set up location permits. Set-up includes pre-approval of scouted poker party homes.

  

Dealer/Host:

 A professional dealer will be used to host the game. The dealer will lead the game and at the same time keeping the excitement of the game alive. The dealer will use discretion about possibly causing friction as a sense of reality for the 'drama' affect of the game and the intensiveness. Dealers will be witty, funny and able to keep the game moving. The dealer will host the game in a comedic style dealer, i.e., Howie Mandell.

  

 Announcer:

 This person announces a short description and OTF’s (on the fly interviews) of the home host and remaining HPPT players. This person introduces the dealer/host. Given a OTF of the players expectations of what (s)he has been told. Continue announcing throughout game of the statistics of each hand and then critiquing it. OTF’s continues with family and friends that are surrounding the HPPT's motor home as the audience. They will be able to view the game with large HD screens pointing to where the audience can watch the game from outside the motor home and host location. Depending on weather, marketing, police, city rules and regulations, and permits will determine how many will be in the audience surrounding the motor home.

 

Poker Chips

            The poker chips used in the game will be sponsored by the Casino sponsoring the grand finale or another sponsor to be announced. The chips will have the HPPT logo printed on each chip. At no time will any chip carry a monetary value nor will any chip be exchanged for any value. No exceptions to the rules!

 

Travel

            The Home Poker Party Tour host at  least two (2) home poker parties a week, depending on locations and budgets.
